With schools around the country set to reopen in the next couple of weeks, there remains huge uncertainty among parents and teachers about the measures that will be put in place to deal with COVID-19. Have principals received enough guidance and information from the government about reopening, and what to do if there is a suspected COVID-19 case in their school? We spoke to Michelle O’Kelly, principal of Mercy Secondary School in Inchicore, Enda O'Gorman, principal of Mary Mother of Hope Senior National School in Littlepace, and Fianna Fáil Senator Fiona O'Loughlin, who is a former primary school teacher.
