Why has the HSE missed its 100,000 vaccine target?

On Newstalk Breakfast this morning, Monaghan GP Ilona Duffy said that around 200 Irish GP practices have yet to receive any coronavirus vaccines. Further to that, the HSE last week missed its target of administering 100,000 vaccine doses – with just over 81,000 rolled out over the seven days. Meanwhile, a number of Fianna Fail TDs have strongly criticized the pace of our vaccine rollout.
