Why Do Theatres Have To Remain Closed When Gyms, Restaurants And Cinemas Can Open?

Cultural venues such as galleries, museums and cinemas can now welcome back visitors under Level 3 restrictions. However, theatres are to remain closed. But why is this the case? Speaking at last night's NPHET briefing, Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan said that the difference in risk between cinemas and theatres had not been considered.
