One of President Trump’s campaign pledges was to build a wall along the US/Mexico border. So, in the run up to Election night in a few days time, we thought it might be a good idea to find out how far the current administration has gone in building it. And would it be finished were Trump to be re-elected? Alicia Caldwell covers the issue immigration for The Wall Street Journal, and she joined Mark on Friday's edition of The Hard Shoulder. Simon Tierney, presenter of  ‘Race To The White House’ on Newstalk, also joined Mark to explain why people, especially in Ireland, seem confused by why people vote for Donald Trump.
