What Will Life Post-Lockdown Look Like?

The Cabinet has approved plans to re-open the economy in three phases from next week. All retail, hairdressers, gyms, museums, tennis courts and golf courses will open from Tuesday, with restaurants and gastropubs to follow on Friday. Home visits for up to three households will commence from Friday 18 December. Daniel McConnell, political editor of the Irish Examiner, joined us with more details of the government's decision. Adrian Cummins, CEO of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, Marie Mellett of Mellett's Emporium in Swinford, Co. Mayo and Julien Mercille, member of the Independent Scientific Advisory Group and associate professor in UCD, also joined us with their views.
