With an Irish election looming, the digital landscape is becoming ever trickier to manoeuvre, with misinformation and negative rhetoric abounding. Why is this the case and how can we make our online world a safer place? Joining Mamobo is Professor Jane Suiter, Professor of Political Communication at DCU and director of FuJo, the Institute for Future Media and Democracy and Society, alongside Professor Kath Browne of the UCD School of Geography, who is Ireland lead of RESIST, a Horizon Europe funded project addressing ‘anti-gender’ politics across Europe.
