What Can Men Do To Make Women Feel Safer?
The Metropolitan Police in London is continuing to question a serving officer on suspicion of the murder of Sarah Everard, who went missing on 3 March while walking home from a friend's house.
Human remains were discovered yesterday by detectives investigating the 33-year-old's disappearance.
The case has resonated with many Irish women who have been sharing their experiences online and in the media of being fearful while walking alone, especially at night.
What can be done, particularly by men, to help ensure women feel safer?
Sinead O'Carroll, editor of TheJournal.ie, and Sarah Benson, CEO of Women's Aid, joined us to discuss this issue.
