'We Need To Get To 10 Cases A Day To Exit Lockdown'

Although the number of COVID-19 cases in Ireland has fallen in recent days, the situation remains worrying with over 200 people now in intensive care. It seems highly likely that the Cabinet will consider an extension of Level 5 restrictions beyond the end of January, but how low do cases need to be before we can realistically exit lockdown? Dr. Tomás Ryan, Associate Professor in the School of Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, Fianna Fáil Senator Timmy Dooley and Monaghan GP Dr Ilona Duffy joined us to discuss this.
