"They want to hurt him, if not to kill"

A family who had been living in Dundalk for six years has fled the town after a series of attacks. Abolore spoke to Kieran about her experiences, most recently last Friday night when she says a gang surrounded her outside the house and hit her with a baseball bat. Previously the windows of the house have been smashed, fireworks have been targeted at the property and people have even thrown bananas at them, which Abolore believes indicates a racist motivation. She's from Nigeria but has been living here 15 years, and her son was born in Dublin. Gardai say they are investigating.
