"They want the cash...they want to stop cars"

A proposal to double on-street parking in Dublin to €7 an hour by 2025 was one of a number of transport ideas for the city that were presented to councillors yesterday.  In the New Year the council is to increase on street parking charges to €3.50 an hour, so will these charges deter motorists from driving into the city and encourage them to use public transport and just damage city centre retailers? Conor Faughnan, Director of Consumer Affairs for AA Ireland joined Ivan in studio to discuss the future of transport in the city.
