Vaccination at the Aviva to halt for 6 days due to sporting events

One of the country’s main vaccination centres is set to close to facilitate match days.      The Aviva Stadium in Dublin has been the epicentre for testing and vaccinations since the start of the pandemic.      But this Saturday will see the stadium closed down to facilitate Ireland’s rugby match against Japan as part of the Vodafone Summer Series.      The stadium will be closed again on July 10 for the second of the Irish rugby team’s Summer Series matches against the USA, on September 4 for the Irish football team’s World Cup qualifier with Azerbaijan and again on September 7 for the football team’s crunch qualifier with Serbia.    Rise TD Paul Murphy and Martin Murphy Stadium Director at the Aviva Stadium Martin Murphy joined Andrea to discuss.   Photo by Piaras Ó Mídheach/Sportsfile
