Tommy Bowe And Mike Phillips On How Ireland And Wales Might Fare In Rugby World Cup

Continuing our build-up to the Rugby World Cup in Japan this month, former Ireland international Tommy Bowe and former Wales scrum-half Mike Phillips joined us in studio to look forward to the action. Phillips says Ireland "know how to win the big games" and are not world number one for no reason. Assessing his own country's chances, he feels the big game for Wales is Australia, which he describes as a must-win. Bowe, who will be anchoring Eir's Rugby World Cup coverage, has high hopes for Ireland. He says winning the first game against Scotland is vital, and if the team can do that, they will build momentum. Listen to the interview in full by pressing the play button on this page.
