The National Coursing Meeting took place in Clonmel but could this be the last time the event is held?

Thousands of people have been attending the National Coursing Meeting in Clonmel over the weekend; however, could 2022 be the last time the event is ever held? Calls are growing for the sport to be banned and legislation to make hare coursing illegal in Ireland is set to be voted on in the Dail later this year. Hare coursing is now banned across most of Europe, including Northern Ireland and the UK. It is only legal in three countries; Ireland, Spain, and Portugal.
