The hotel industry is struggling

We’ve spoken before on this show about the impact of the slew of new costs on restaurants such as holiday and sickness pay as well as higher minimum wages. But the same rules also apply of course to hotels some of whom are struggling.  They also come as many hotel beds are no longer available to tourists and visitors because they are being used by the State to house asylum seekers and Ukrainian refugees.      Michael Magner, President of the Irish Hotels Federation gave his reaction to Joe this morning.
