Declan Power an independent security and defence analyst, joined Kieran on the Hard Shoulder following last week’s massive cyberattack against the HSE. The Department of Health has revealed that it has been attacked by ransomware.  Meanwhile Scotland are five months after a cyber attack, the Scottish Government’s environment watchdog and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, are still struggling to process thousands of pollution permits, planning applications and waste licenses. Dr Richard Dixon, the Director of Friends of the Earth Scotland, and previous board member of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency from 2011 until 2019 spoke to Kieran on the show.
