The Football Pod: Cavan catch Monaghan, Championship shocks, Playing the breeze

Paddy Andrews and James O'Donoghue join Tommy Rooney for Monday’s free episode of The Football Pod after the first weekend of the 2024 Championships - the provincials threw up a few shocks, as the campaign got underway. (01:00) - Championship shocks get us going: from Waterford to Wicklow. (12:00) - Westmeath’s year brought to a halt. (20:00) - Cavan beat Monaghan - goals, playing the wind and communication. (38:00) - Mayo’s eye-in, Galway pass the test but pick up more injuries. We've got two episodes per-week throughout the 2024 season, and hopefully we'll see you for both - tune in to our members episode on Wednesday. Monday's are free to everyone, and the later show during the week is for Off the Ball members, head over to offtheball.com/join for more. There are plenty of ways to listen in. The Football Pod is brought to you by AIB, proud sponsors of the All-Ireland SFC. Check out #TheToughest for more.
