A survey by the Representative Association of Commissioned Officers has found more “push factors than pull factors” for officers in the Defence Forces. Nearly one-in-three officers who quit the Forces in the past few years told the survey they wouldn't recommend a military career in this country. Cathal Berry, Independent TD for Kildare and Noel O’Callaghan, retired Regiment Sergeant Major joined Kieran to discuss the findings.
