"The barrier of sexuality and identity is lifting!"

Blackpool FC forward Jake Daniels has come out as gay, becoming the only out player currently playing in the top tiers of men’s football in the UK. Blackpool's Jake Daniels said his decision to come out as the UK's only openly gay active male professional footballer was "a massive relief". Speaking to Sky Sports, the 17-year-old said: "Now is the right time to do it.
