Teachers Want To Be Prioritised For Covid-19 Vaccine

The teachers unions appeared before the Oireachtas Education Committee this morning to discuss a range of issues surrounding Covid-19 and schools. These issues included pay equality, safe classrooms during Covid 19 and access to vaccines. ASTI members have voted to take industrial action unless the Government immediately addresses key Covid-19 issues in schools. The INTO’s John Boyle feels government should have provided a free flu vaccine to all teachers.
