Teachers Consider Strike Action Due To COVID-19 Concerns

The ASTI has said it is considering strike action due to COVID-19 safety concerns in secondary schools. Various issues have been raised since schools reopened, including physical distancing, testing turnaround times, availability of PPE and provisions for teachers in high-risk health categories. Kieran Christie, General Secretary of the ASTI, and Michael McLoughlin from Youth Work Ireland joined us to talk about these concerns.
