As TDs Admit To Voting For Absent Colleagues, What Does It Say About Our Democracy?

Two Fianna Fáil TDs have stood down from the frontbench as an investigation takes place into the practice of voting on behalf of colleagues absent from the Dáil chamber. Niall Collins and Timmy Dooley were asked to step down after it emerged that Collins voted for Dooley six times while he was not in the chamber. Lisa Chambers has also admitted to voting "inadvertently" on behalf of Dara Calleary. What does it say about our democracy, and how can we stop it happening again? To discuss this we were joined by journalist Lise Hand, Colm Brophy, Fine Gael TD for Dublin South-West, Paul Murphy, RISE TD for Dublin South-West, and Darragh O'Brien, Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin Fingal.
