Surrogate Mother Fights For Her Right To Be Legally Recognised As Baby's Mum

When Sinead Gallagher-Hedderman and Mark Hedderman were first interviewed on The Last Word a month ago, they were facing the prospect of mandatory hotel quarantine with their newborn baby Theo. Although that situation was resolved, the couple are now facing a new set of legal issues. Theo was born to a surrogate in Ukraine. In Ireland, Sinead is not legally recognised as his mother.
