Suffering From Anxiety? Help Is Just A Phone Call Away
Many people have struggled with their mental health during COVID-19, experiencing issues like depression, anxiety and social isolation.
The mental health charity Aware, which has just launched its Christmas donation campaign, has reported a 60% increase in demand for its services.
Dr Claire Hayes, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director at Aware, joined us to talk about some of the difficulties people are dealing with as a result of the pandemic.
We also spoke to Colm Doolan, an Aware volunteer who has suffered from anxiety since childhood, about how using the service has helped him.
