Speed limits will be cut to 30km/h in “all residential areas” across Dublin city under new traffic laws which are due to come into force next year. The council has been working for more than a decade to reduce speed limits on most roads throughout the city and suburbs. The limit is expected to be introduced in three phases by next year.
