Over the weekend misinformation started to spread at a phenomenal rate around Whatsapp, causing more stress and worry for people who are already feeling overwhelmed by measures being taken to try and stop the spread of Covid-19. Today FM reporter Sean Defoe joined Dermot & Dave advising people to only trust reputable news sources like journalists and news sites, “We are literally paid to check it out and verify it.
