Do you or someone you know suffer from migraine?
Migraine Awareness Week runs next week from the 9th to the 15th of September. Over half a million people in Ireland suffer from migraines with around 13,000 attacks occurring every day. Migraine is now the 6th most disabling disease overall and the 4th amongst women according to the World Health Organisation but despite this, 67% of sufferers say they feel other people did not understand their pain. Do you suffer from migraines? What has been your experience? Do you think other people take them seriously? Have you ever heard someone compare them to a ‘bad headache’?
