Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' Is The Most Played Song Of The 21st Century

Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' has been named the most played song of the 21st century. It has had more plays on British radio than any other track of the last 19 years, and has also been a mainstay on the airwaves in Ireland. The song was released in 2006 and has been performed by the band at almost every one of their concerts since then. Its popularity was also aided by being featured in the hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy. Is it worthy of its 'most played' status? Or is it a little bit on the bland side? John Caddell and Larissa Nolan gave their verdict in our music slot. They also picked their favourite summer songs. Listen to the interview in full by pressing the play button on this page.
