Singer Duffy Criticises Netflix Film '365 Days', Saying It Glamourises Rape
The singer Duffy has criticised Netflix's 365 Days, saying it glamourises rape.
The movie, adapted from a novel by Polish writer Blanka Lipińska, follows a woman who is kidnapped and given a year to fall in love with her captor, the head of a Sicilian Mafia family.
With a score of 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems critics agree with Duffy.
Earlier this year the singer emerged from a decade-long musical hiatus, revealing that she had been kidnapped, raped and held captive for days, and had needed time to recover from her ordeal.
Joe O'Shea and Jennifer Gannon joined us for our weekly TV slot to discuss this and more, including the addition of Mad Men to Amazon Prime.
