Should you rent toys before buying?
With the holiday season fast approaching, parents are looking for ways to save money, reduce waste, and find toys their kids will truly love. Enter Vicky Noble, the craftswoman behind DluluKaloo Wooden Toys, an eco-friendly Irish enterprise inspired by a similar initiative in Australia.
Her solution? Renting toys before buying them! Parents can now “try before they buy,” whether it’s for big-ticket items like balance boards or special birthday bundles. And the perks? Less clutter, smarter spending, and a greener planet.
Guest host Stefanie Preissner is joined by Vicky to discuss.
Vicky will bring Dlulukaloo Wooden Toys to a national audience when she exhibits at Gifted, the country’s biggest craft and design fair.
It takes place at Dublin’s RDS from December 4-8.
