Should new leave for parents of sick children should be covered by social welfare?

Parents should be able to access Illness Benefit when taking time off work to care for sick children. That’s the view of our Ann Norton who says proposals to allow parents of sick children five days unpaid leave do not go far enough.  Ann Norton is Manager of the Clare Crusaders Children’s Clinic.
