Labour announced its plans to address the issue and help turn around the fortunes of football in this country. The party wants to see soccer on the syllabus in secondary schools. Labour TD Aodhan O’Riordan told Adrian Kennedy why he thinks for a long time, some would suggest that soccer in Ireland has been treated as a poor relation of GAA and rugby.
