Ruth Morrissey's Solicitor Remembers The "Caring, Gentle" Person He Knew

CervicalCheck campaigner Ruth Morrissey has died at the age of 39. Her passing comes two years after she gave evidence in the High Court in her action against the HSE and two laboratories over the misreading of her cervical smear tests. She and her husband Paul won the case and were awarded damages. It was confirmed last week that they had received the money in full. Ruth Morrissey's solicitor Cian O'Carroll joined us on The Last Word to remember her. [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2020/07/20174547/LW-Ruth-Morrissey.mp3"][/audio]
