Rise In COVID-19 Hospitalisations "Very Concerning"
Further restrictions are being considered for Dublin and other counties as the number of COVID-19 infections is expected to continue rising over the coming days.
Officials are closely monitoring the situation in Louth, Waterford, Limerick, Kildare, Leitrim, Donegal, Offaly and Wicklow.
There are also concerns over a rise in hospital admissions.
Priscilla Lynch, clinical editor of the Medical Independent, and Professor Sam McConkey, Infectious Disease Specialist at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, joined us to discuss this and the issue of flu vaccine delays.
