Restrictions Slowly Begins To Ease From Today
Restrictions will begin to ease today as the government’s new plan to exit lockdown comes into effect this morning. Theatres and live venues are among the first to be impacted, and joining us this morning to discuss is Jo Mangan, Independent Director and Director of the Performance corporation and Independent Director. Though there is no change to the maximum number of guests permitted, live music is now allowed at outdoor wedding receptions. Colm Cavanagh of the Cavanagh Brothers Wedding Band gave us his reaction and also with all religious services can now be held at half-capacity, regardless of the vaccination or immunity status of participants we spoke to Bishop Brendan Leahy is the Bishop of Limerick.
