Remembering Gerry And The Pacemakers Star, Gerry Marsden
Gerry Marsden, lead singer of Liverpool band Gerry and the Pacemakers, has died at the age of 78.
As contemporaries of The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers were a key part of the 1960s Merseybeat music scene.
They were best known for their version of 'You'll Never Walk Alone', the anthem of Liverpool Football Club, and their other hits included 'How Do You Do It?' and 'Ferry Cross the Mersey'.
John Caddell and Dee Reddy remembered him and Bagatelle singer Liam Reilly, who also passed away, in our weekly music slot, and looked at new releases from Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon.
