Ransomware attack forces HSE to cancel appointments

Thousands of patients could have their appointments cancelled as a result of a ransomware attack on the HSE's IT systems. Dr. Denis McCauley, Chair of the IMO GP Committee and a Donegal GP, told us how it will impact routine diagnostic tests, as well as Covid-19 testing and vaccinations. We also heard from Dr. Angie Brown, Medical Director with the Irish Heart Foundation and Consultant cardiologist, explained how it will impact cardiology patients.
