If Pubs Can't Enforce Social Distancing Should They Be Shut Down?

As videos emerged over the weekend of crowds drinking on Dublin streets and ignoring social distancing rules, Minister for Justice Helen McEntee has said that further restrictions on business reopenings may be imposed. Garda Commissioner Drew Harris added that the Gardaí had carried out around 6,000 inspections of licensed premises, and while the vast majority were compliant, some were not. Should pubs be shut down if they can't enforce social distancing? Donall O'Keeffe of the Licensed Vintners Association joined us to discuss his concerns.
