Representatives of the pub, restaurant and hotel trades were in front of the Oireachtas Tourism Committee today asking the government for clarity on when and how they can reopen. Will customers need to be vaccinated before they can enter a pub, will there continue to be a distinction between wet pubs and gastropubs, and will the €9 meal still apply? Ronan Lynch, owner of The Swan Bar in Dublin and immediate past Chair of the Licensed Vintners Association, and Adrian Cummins, CEO of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, joined us to discuss these issues.
