Deirdre Morley was found not guilty by reason of insanity yesterday for the murder of her three young children at her Dublin home in January 2020.   Two psychiatrists told the jury that the accused, a pediatric nurse, was suffering from a mental disorder at the time of the killings. Patricia Casey is an Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry in UCD and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Hermitage Clinic spoke to us this morning about this tragic case.
