Last week we spoke to Dr. Jari Kauppila, Head of Foresight and Quantitative Analysis at the International Transport Forum at the OECD, about the concept of shared mobility. But why hasn't car sharing become more popular in Ireland? Our motoring expert Michael Sheridan believes it's due to the lack of public transport in many rural areas, where having your own car is essential for independence.
