Moving home helped her find it and writing about what is close to her was essential to getting this album made. Mahalia hopes that anyone who listens to her music walks away feeling empowered and believing that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. 2019 has been an exciting one for Mahalia but she hopes that 2020 will be even better.
