Donal Skehan The last time Donal Skehan was on Plan B he started the great Christmas Mash Debate of 2018. This time he was back in studio with Sarina to talk about his ninth cookbook, Superfood in Minutes, and debate how many items do we really need in our kitchen?! View this post on Instagram I'm nearing the end of my second week since #SuperFoodInMinutes was released! I've been on non-stop mode doing book signings and events in London and Dublin and i've been getting the greatest feedback! Love seeing and talking with everyone I'm meeting along the way too. It's been a whirlwind, but the finish line is almost there. Get your copy today if you haven't already - Link on profile! He doesn’t want to produce pretty cookbooks that just end up on people’s coffee tables. The family secret The recipes that make it to the cook book are ones that Donal uses himself but is there one he would never include in the book because he can’t reveal a family secret ingredient? View this post on Instagram A post shared by Donal Skehan (@donalskehan) on Jul 11, 2019 at 6:48am PDT Donal shared that his grandmother was an amazing cook and one of his favourite dishes was her Irish stew. He grew up on it and it evokes great memories. Before she died he asked her what the secret ingredient was. He was shocked to hear that it was Bisto granules. Needless to say, that recipe won’t be making any of his future cookbooks! Super Food in Minutes is available now.
