Peter McVerry Trust Down More Than €1M In Fundraising Due To COVID-19

Homeless people and the services that support them have been hit hard by COVID-19. Despite being busier than ever during the pandemic, the Peter McVerry Trust is expected to lose €1.2 million in fundraising this year. The annual Wexford Cycle has been running for over 30 years and is normally the charity's biggest fundraising event, but this month will see a virtual cycle take place instead. Pat Doyle, CEO of the Peter McVerry Trust, joined us to talk about how homeless people have been impacted by the pandemic and how the public can continue to support their work.
