A mural paying tribute to President Higgins dog Síoda who passed away last week after a short illness has been painted in Dublin's Rings End. There was a massive outpouring of grief by many people after Síodas death was announced with countless people taking to social media to express their sadness. Ian O’Doherty Columnist with The Irish Independent and Daily Star and  proud owner of two dogs, joined Kieran and Brendan Kelly Professor of Psychiatry Trinity College Dublin to discuss why we have such a capacity to feel an emotional connection to animal's.
