The Hard Shoulder Highlights

"Pennsylvania made it all the sweeter!"

Joe Biden is the President-Elect of the United States. On Saturday, a batch of results from the swing state of Pennsylvania gave Biden a lead of over 30,000 votes on Trump – which was enough for the race to be called by all of the US networks. Brendan Boyle is a Democratic Member of Congress for Pennsylvania's 2nd Congressional District, and he told Kieran, on Monday's edition of The Hard Shoulder, why he's proud that Pennsylvania was part of making the Biden presidency a reality. Meanwhile, many supporters of Donald Trump still aren’t accepting that the fight for the Presidency is over. Alice Butler-Short, who is the founder of Virginia Women for Trump, also joined Kieran to tell him why she doesn't yet recognise Biden as the next President.
