She did her thesis on Madonna which she says tells you everything you need to know about her! She's passionate about owning her work and prefers to call herself an artist than a singer, as her experience means she's doing almost all of the creative work herself. Speaking about where it came from she said she found it empowering to create her own persona and took inspiration from drag names! She also explained the interesting origin of the word too.
