17-year-old mountain biker and young sportsperson of the year 2021- Oisin O'Callaghan joined Louise on Spin Now to chat about his outstanding sporting achievements. Oisin O’Callaghan has been trailblazing... literally in modern Irish cycling history! Earlier this year he signed a professional contract with team YT Mob racing, built around German bike manufacturer YT Industries and several other headline sponsors, which specializes in downhill mountain bike racing. Oisin from Ard Patrick Limerick won the UCI junior mountain bike world championships which were held in Austria in October 2020, the first time that any Irish rider has won gold at the competition! His dream was to be world champion mountain biker and he has done it! Chatting on Spin Oisin says his goal now is to become junior elite world champion and to keep winning all of his races!
