As has been widely reported, the three Super Junior Ministers at the centre of a controversy have agreed to hand back the €16k extra salary approved last week. Instead, they'll split the two existing €16k allowances and so will still get a rise of more than €10,000. But will this controversy blow over, and how many more bumps in the road can the coalition take in its first month in office? John Downing, political columnist with the Irish Independent, explained the situation to Mark on Tuesday's edition of the Hard Shoulder.
