Norma Foley Reflects On Schools Reopening

Schools reopened on Thursday of this week with widespread teacher shortages and student absences due to the Omicron variant. Many pupils are still isolating as a result of the high incidence of Covid-19 and also because of the rules regarding close contacts of Covid cases. The touchpoint of windows being open in classes is causing a lot of consternation as Ireland experiences colder than normal temperatures.
