New Movie 'Wild Mountain Thyme' Slated For Containing Some Of The Worst Irish Accents Ever

The trailer for new movie Wild Mountain Thyme has been widely mocked on social media for its questionable Irish accents. The romantic comedy, which stars Jamie Dornan, Emily Blunt and Christopher Walken, was filmed in Co. Mayo and is based on a Broadway play called Outside Mullingar. One person who saw the trailer tweeted that the movie was "a crime against Irish accents". Not even Northern Ireland native Jamie Dornan escaped criticism, with others on Twitter noting that his Irish accent was worse than Christopher Walken's. Dee Molumby and Paddy Cullivan joined us with their thoughts on the trailer and whether we only have ourselves to blame for the Irish stereotypes in films.
